So accommodating
Cary Cart was great to rent a golf cart from this past week while on vacation. The house came with a golf cart, but we decided last minute to rent another to fit everyone. Legal Considerations for NC Golf Cart Rentals
- Street Legal Criteria: Street legal golf carts must be operated by a licensed driver. Our golf carts are considered low speed vehicles (LSVs) with a maximum speed of 25 mph as required by the safety guidelines published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
- Age Requirements: You must be 21 or over to rent a golf cart from Cary Cart Company.
- Road Restrictions: It is legally permissible to drive our golf carts on any road with a speed limit of 35 mph or less. We do not allow our golf carts to be driven over the Ocean Isle Bridge (although this speed limit is 35 mph) due to safety concerns.
