What Ocean Isle Beach Golf Cart Renters Need to Know

If you’re heading to Ocean Isle Beach, there’s been a recent update to public parking – and we’ve had a few guests asking for more info on how it works.

No stress. We’ve got you covered.

The Good News

Your Ocean Isle Beach golf cart rental already includes a paid parking pass.

That means you do not need to purchase parking separately for the rental. No extra apps, no surprise fees – it’s handled as part of your rental.

What Changed?

Ocean Isle Beach now requires paid parking in designated public beach parking areas during the season. These areas are clearly marked with signage, and parking enforcement is active.

So while parking isn’t new, enforcement is more consistent – which makes knowing where to park important.

Where You Can Park

With your included parking pass, you’re authorized to park in:

  • Any designated, marked public beach parking space
  • Spaces with posted paid-parking signs
  • Beach access parking lots that allow public parking

If it’s clearly marked as a public paid parking spot, you’re all set.

A Few Important Reminders

To avoid any issues:

  • Only park in clearly marked spaces
  • Do not park along curbs, road edges, or in unmarked areas
  • Each vehicle – including golf carts – must be in its own designated parking spot

While your parking pass is included, any citation issued due to improper parking (for example, parking outside a marked space) is the responsibility of the renter. If a ticket is issued, you’ll need to contact the parking company directly and handle any associated fees.

For any questions regarding parking citations please contact Otto Connect directly. Here is their contact information Otto Connect

Bottom Line

As long as you’re parked in a clearly marked paid public parking area, you’re completely covered.
